Lost Update – Season 2

First of all, THANK YOU universe for not spoiling the end of this show for me!
I’m still mad at the guy who spoiled the end of Fullmetal Alchemist for me (wearing my FMA shirts every single weekend was NOT an invitation to spoil the end of me, you asshole!).
I’m most of the way through the 2nd season, here are my not too spoilery thoughts. I’ve put them under the break, because i guess there are some mild spoilers, or at least teasers.
Wow, season 2 had a rough start! Lots of stuff about people I didn’t care about. But? I’m so happy for Rose!
Ana Lucia has got to be the most annoying person on the planet. I really can’t stand her. I just want her to go and live on the other side of the island so I don’t have to see her stupid face again. The first half of this season was all Ana Lucia all the time and I nearly stopped watching all together, that’s how annoying she is.
Poor Sayid. Naveen Andrews is my favorite actor on this show. he’s amazing. Like, this show could just be 45 minutes of Naveen Andrews walking around and I’d be totally Ok with that.
ok, so Desmond runs off. where the hell does he run off to? There really isn’t anywhere to go?
Holy shit when Claire starts remembering! omg!
I’m happy that Sun and Jin are starting to work things out.
15 or so episodes in, this season is getting a lot better. Probably because the episodes start to feature someone other than Ana Lucia! My favorite part is the flashbacks. Sun’s English lessons with that handsome guy, John’s jackass dad. I’m still waiting for *that* John flashback, the one where he has some kind of accident, or something?
John sees a whole bunch of weird shit “downstairs” – there is some crazy weird red and black stuff on the “clock”, and then something sorta dumb happens and the lights go out and then these black lights come on and he sees a map? or something? You can tell he’s trying to memorize what he’s seeing, but us viewers don’t see it clear enough to have any idea what it is. I get why John has major trust issues, trust me I get it. But would it kill him to tell anyone what he’s seen. Hmmm, he used to feel comfortable telling Walt all that stuff, didn’t he? And look what happened to Walt. Poor Walt.
Henry Gale. my first thought was it’s some kind of Wizard of Oz joke. Then Sayid came back and I realized this guy with the watery blue eyes is an asshole. I wonder what they are gonna do with him?

My husband is just now watching this show too, I think he’s in the middle of season two as well. So hard to keep my mouth clamped shut when I’m sitting beside him as he watches, but I’m going to keep doing it because it’s just so entertaining to watch his reactions 😀

Never watched it, or paid any attention, so I can’t spoil the end for you except maybe the part about the talking cows singing cowboy songs around the campfire and roasting marshmallows.

I had a giant grin on my face as I was reading this 😀 I won’t sat what one, but my friend has the exact same thoughts about one thing here, and his favorite part about season 2 was at the end of it – so I assume it will be yours also 😉
