All Hallows Read!
Posted October 30, 2014
on:A few days ago I started reading Let The Right One In, by John Ajvide Lindqvist. I’ve seen the both the Swedish and American film versions, so I already know the “twist”. But even so, this is a disturbingly creepy book!
Are you reading anything creepy this week?

I’ve only seen the Swedish movie, haven’t yet read the book. I liked the movie, so hopefully will get to it someday! This week I’ve started reading Lauren Beuke’s “Shining Girls”, which is pretty creepy–about a serial killer in a time-travel house.

I just finished Christopher Buehlman’s Between Two Fires and am currently reading Fiend by Peter Stenson, an interesting little zombie book 🙂

I’ve only seen the Swedish film, but if the book is half as creepy as the film, that’s pretty creepy!

I am caught in the spell of a fantasy novel at the moment, but I think I’ll reserve tomorrow as a reading day for horror. I have a couple of short story collections perfectly suited for the occasion. And a couple of movies too. 🙂
I really need to correct the situation with “Let the Right One In” too, I’ve seen the movies but I didn’t read the novel yet.

it’s not the kind of book that would usually get my attention, but since seeing the movies I’ve been itching to read it.
