that said, you’ll never be in a reading rut again. Peter – every year it seems I read more spec fic and less mainstream stuff. also not sure if that’s a trend or aberration for me. 😉
Carl – I know, right? So much for me attempting to spend a little less on books this year!!

Wow, looking at those lists reminds me how little speculative fiction I read this year. I read a lot of non-fiction, a fair bit of historical fiction, but only a handful spec fic titles (and only two of those were released in 2010 – Bujold’s Cryoburn and Cook’s Surrender to the Will of the Night). I wonder if that’s the beginning of a trend in my reading habits, or just an aberration.
